It's Been Real, And It's Been Fun

Well I have an announcement to make. It may bother whatever few readers I have, or I may just be speaking to myself the whole time I've been blogging here, but either way, here's to whoever is reading.

I have decided to stop blogging. As much as I have loved it, my life has just become to fast paced and busy to have the time for it. I have a new job for the summer that requires a lot of hours and attention, so I just don't see myself having the time to do it any longer. I'm going to start writing more in my journal - when I can actually find the time. . . :P

It's been really fun writing this stuff to whoever is out there actually reading, but it's all coming to an end tonight. So good bye readers from the web. Thank you all for your love and tuning in. Lol. It's been real, and it's been fun. Later! ;D

Finally Time

Oh my goodness. I've been so busy since I got out of school it's crazy. This is the first time I've actually had the time to sit down and write an entry.

I'm back at work, so that has been taking up most of my mornings. I have graduation ceremony from high school this Friday and I've been trying to get all the stuff for that settled. I've finally got everything situated but my tickets and I'm picking those up today. I've also been spending some time with my dad after work recently. And I've been picking up my sisters from school a lot since I got done with school.

So as you can see I've had a good little plate full of things to do. I've been able to write in my journal at work whenever I got a spare minute, but I've not really got the chance to blog until this morning.

I walk in graduation Friday night. I'm not really as excited as everyone else who is still at the high school, though. I guess it's just because I'm already in college so it's kind of like, what's the point? I just want my diploma so that I can be done with that school and no longer have personal ties to it. Lol.

I've been racking in some cash for graduation though, which is pretty nice. I went to two church ceremonies yesterday and got over $200 total. WOW! And I haven't even recieved replies to all of my graduation announcements yet. So it's looking like my spare money for vacation week after next will be funded from graduation. Haha.

I'm really glad for the time I've been spending with friends, too. My friend that I've wrote about a couple of times beore, "Susan," is doing well and has changed for the better so much. She and I have been spening a good bit of time together. We spent some time together yesterday and after I get off work I'm going to her house today and then tomorrow she, Jenn, and I are going swimming. Woot! I've spent a couple days and nights with Stefanie, too. It's been really nice to spend time with her again since I haven't seen her since I left high school. Plus it was very comforting that she remained my friend after so many of my so called friends stopped talking to me after I graduated early. :P

Well, anyway. I start babysitting next week, too. So hopefully I will have plenty of things to keep me busy this summer and I'll be making a good bit of money as well.

I guess that's all that I really have to talk about right now. I should have a little more time to blog this week and the rest of the summer now, so until the next time, I hope y'all have a good start to summer!!

Almost Homeward Bound

Almost. Lol.

I've got one more test tomorrow morning at eight, and then my dad is coming to help me move out of the dorms for the summer.

So far I've done pretty well on my finals. Yesterday I took my world civ final. My grade for that hasn't been posted yet, but my grade from the English final today was a 98. I made a high A on my nutrition final, although I couldn't tell you the actual grade. Tomorrow I have my public speaking test. Hopefully I'll do well on it, too. I'm studying with my friend Jenn tonight because we have that class together.

Next Monday is whenever I start my job again. I also starting trying to set up some afternoon babysitting for a little more side cash and something to do in the afternoon. Matt got a job for the summer so there will be some days when he's working that he won't get off til about 6 or so. I don't wanna be sitting around the house bored to tears waiting for him to get off. Lol.

Anyway, I'm moving out tomorrow morning and since Matt has to work that's probably the plan for the day, is to sit around the house doing whatever I can find to do until he gets off work. :P

Laaaaame but worth it. Haha.

Peanuts, Vampire Diaries, and Letter Sequences

Strange combination right?

Well, peanuts because that's what I've been snacking on. Unfortunately Matt finished school two weeks ahead of me this semester and so I've kinda been stuck here being an antisocial loner in my room. I did go out to eat with my friend, Jenn, Monday though. That was nice, but other than that the only time I've really left my room was to go to class. :P

Vampire diaries because that's what I've been watching for about the past two or three hours. Again, I'm being an antisocial loner girl. Lol.

The last one is probably the only one that really needs an explanation. Lol. That one because I'm studying for a final I have tomorrow. Tuesday my teacher gave us all of the answers to the test and so I've kinda just been memorizing the letters in order because she's making the test in the same order as the answers she gave us. I absolutely love her for that, too. Just to be clear. There's 75 questions, so it was a bit of a challenge in the beginning, but I've got them all down pat now.

I'm very ready for the weekend. Friday of course I will be with Matt because I miss him terribly. Saturday I'm getting a haircut - I'll be sure to post pictures because this time it won't just be a little trim - and I'm also hanging out with my good friend Stefanie again. It has been a looooong time since I last spent some time with her and so I'm really looking forward to it. She's one of those true and loyal friends I was talking about last night. And it'll feel really great to hang out with someone that I know I can trust again. Oh, and just in case that makes Jenn sound like a fake friend, I swear she's not. Haha. She's another true one that I've got remaining.

Well, I suppose that is it for the night. I just wanted to stay true to keeping up with posts now. Plus I've missed talking to my invisible internet audience. Just so y'all know I love everyone of you for reading my rants and ramblings. Lol.

I'm Back Again

So it's been a little while since I last blogged, but I've been so deeply buried in school work it's not even funny. Finals are next week and I've got two at the end of this week. Talk about lots of studying to do and plenty of stress to come with it.

Of course I can also chalk my writing absence to my amazing new 3DS. I've been hooked ever since I got it, and Matt just recently bought me the new Fire Emblem game and I must say I've been pretty busy fighting Risen and Plegians the past few days. Lol.

Anyway, all of that being said, I plan to catch up since school is almost over for the summer. I'll have a job, but it's only part time so that won't interfere much at all. Hopefully it'll be a thing for the whole summer and not just a two or three week thing though. I'm supposed to be working to pay off some buffing I had done to my Z28 after the wreck, but I could really use the extra money for the summer. :P

Next week will be my last week of my first college semester. It's kinda excited. I'm proud that I pulled through. I have to admit that in the beginning I hit a little snag of depression and worry that I wasn't ready for all of this yet, but I've come through it all. And I'm very proud of myself. Not only for that, but for several other things. Over the course of this semester I have stood up for myself in so many ways. I've began to figure out who my true friends are, and although the number keeps slimming, I'm okay with that. Yes, it's sad, but I'd rather have a handful of true friends than a whole mess of fake ones.

I've also become a bit more of a mature adult. I'm so young, and I've been through so much crap already in life, but it's all made me such a strong person Even though it caused me quite a bit of pain and heartache in the past, I wouldn't go back and change anything now because it's made me this great and strong person. I finally love who I am, and believe me when I say that's coming a long way from just a few years ago. Lol.

Ahhh. It felt good to get that out. And now I'm going to write all of that down into my journal where I'll have it on my shelf forever. :]

Test Looming Over Me

Yep... I have a big test today in my World Civ. class at twelve o'clock and I'm actually kinda nervous for it. Which, not to brag of anything, but that's really not normal for me because I'm always on top of things I do or have going on in class. Before college? I never had to study. However, college has opened up a whole new world of studying and test preparation for me that I'm severely not used to. Lol.

This is our second major test. The last one I made an 81 on, so that's decent... We had an essay at the end of the first one and on this one we're not having one. I think the essay was what killed me the first time which is completely not normal for me, but apparently my teacher is adamant about his dates...  :P Hopefully since this one will not have an essay and I'm pretty familiar with all of the things that will be on this test, I will make an A. Overachiever me and whatnot. Haha.

Soooo, yeah. Today was also the first day for persuasive speeches to be given. My speech date isn't until next Wednesday so I'm good, but the ones given today I had some mixed feelings about. Four people spoke today. Two of them were very well put together and had great topics. One I couldn't hear because of a very rude someone in the class was making too much noise for me to be able to hear the speaker... And the other was honestly absolutely awful. She probably failed....

Mine is on the nature vs nurture psychology argument - persuading my audience to take the nurture side - and I'm excited about it. The speech is well organized and I think it'll be really great.

Over the weekend I did a good bit of fun things. Friday I went out to eat with my dad, family, and Matt. It was really fun. We pranked my little sister at the mexican restaurant and told the people it was her birthday. They brought her fried ice cream and rubbed it all over her face. Lol!! Then I got a Nintendo 3DS, which I have been wanting for quite some time. I've been a pretty big nerd all weekend playing my Pokemon White game. Haha.

Saturday I went mud-ridding with Matt and some of our friends. It was soooo much fun. I haven't done that in a good while and I really enjoyed it. We got filthy, but it was worth it. Afterwards we ate crawfish, one of my personal favorite foods, and I had so many that my lips turned red and it looked like I was wearing lipstick, but they were great. :]

My weekend was awesome, and hopefully my week will be awesome, too. I'll probably find time at some point later in the week to blog again, so until then! :]

Sick of This, Sick of That

Sick of EVERYTHING! Just kidding... Not really everything. But a good little list of things... :P

I've been sick with a freaking cold for over a week now and it's about to drive me up the walls crazy! I guess I got it due to all of this crazy and bi-polar weather we've been having lately, but I really hate it. The main thing I despise about it though? My cold is about as bi-polar as the weather that gave it to me. One day I will feel great, then the next day I feel absolutely miserable. Yesterday was definitely one of the miserable days. It was so bad that whenever Matt picked me up from my dorm to drive me to class he took one look at me and said, "Baby, you need to go back to sleep." And he was right. I was soooo miserable yesterday. I woke up and couldn't even breathe out of my nose. I was sleep deprived because the night before I was constantly waking up because I couldn't freaking breathe. Plus I just felt so weak and tired. So I went back to my room and got about three more hours of sleep which REALLY helped me. I woke up close to eleven feeling decent enough to get up, cook, and do homework so that was a big improvement. Lol.

The next thing that I've grown tired of is this freaking weather. At least it's staying warm now, but now it's sunny off and on and I hate that. I know spring brings spring showers and all that jazz, but I want the sunshine spring brings. I need some happiness inducing vitamin D!! Not to mention I really miss being able to go lay out in the grass behind my dorm with Matt. Yeah, that's not nearly as nice when it's cloudy outside. Just sayin'.

But the final thing that I am sick of is school. I'm so ready for summer that I am about to burst. And even though I'll be working my whole summer break, that really doesn't matter to me. I need a serious break from school. Spring break was great, but I still had to come back a week later. I'm talking a good ole summer long break. I'll be done with my classes around May 10th, so that entails about a two and a half month long break from college. AH-MAZING! And I am so completely ready for that.

Well, sorry if this entry sounded like a hissy fit in writing, but I seriously needed to express all that crap. Lol. :P

Anywho, I have class soon so that about wraps up this post. Hopefully I will have a happier themed one to put up later in the week or over the weekend. Haha.

Just Have to Brag

Ok, so some of you may remember the post I did a while back about the couple that had been cheating on each other. Well, I just have to brag on my friend “Sally.”

About a week or two ago, she and I had a huge falling out whenever I went to stay the night at her house. I won’t go into all the details, but let’s just say a random guy showing up at her house at 3:30AM was involved… Anyway, I got suuupppppppeeeeeeer pissed off and just let her have it. I told her how the things she was doing were wrong and that if she didn’t stop it was going to destroy her life completely and that I could not and would not sit around and watch it happen. Then I left her house at nearly 4 o’clock in the morning, which is something I have NEVER done before.

APPARENTLY me doing that and her being faced with losing her best and only true friend made her open up her eyes and realized that she had to stop doing the things she was doing. So I have been texting her for the past hour or so and she has informed me that she told her spouse all about the lying and the cheating and everything else she had been doing. After I left her house that night she said all of the things that I said had been eating at her and she finally just could not take the pressure anymore, so she told the truth.

I am SO proud of her I cannot even begin to explain it. She’s now going to start working on turning her life around for the good and she has officially sworn off all the things that she was doing before. I now not only have hope for our friendship being salvaged, but I have hope for her. She knows now that she can’t carry on like that and I know that she has the willpower to pull through it all.

So yeah, I just had to brag on my dearest friend and how extremely proud of her I am right now. That is all. Good night. :]

It's Been a While...

Soooo.... The last time I blogged was a couple weeks ago, and I do apologize for the time gap. I've been wrapped up in all of my new little gadgets. Lol! I FINALLY have a smart phone and Temple Run 2 has me hooked. Plus, I keep finding all sorts of cool new features on Windows 8.

Anyway, my weekend was pretty crazy. There was good, but there was also bad. Unfortunately it wasn't a balance of the two either... :P

I won't really talk about all of the details. I've talked about them too much and I really just do not feel like rehashing them another time. But just know that I had a big fight with a friend and it has probably done some irreversible damage to our friendship. I really hope that I'm wrong about that, but I guess we'll see.

It's finally starting to feel like spring outside! I cannot express how happy that makes me. I love all of the fashion possibilities that winter creates, and fall is my favorite season, but it feels AH-MAZING to be able to wear shorts again. Lol.

Yesterday Matt and I got out on campus and enjoyed all of the warm weather. It was so nice. We went walking for a little over an hour. It was so much fun and we found some things on the campus that we never even knew were there.

Well, I suppose that's really about all. Maybe I  won't be so lacking in posts the rest of the week. :P

Feelin' Good!

Today has been a really great day. Actually, it's been a really great week overall. :]

Yesterday was Matt's birthday and we went home for the night. It was really nice to go home for a night. We had a good bit of time to ourselves which was also really nice. He had a great day and I was there to share it with him. I got him a fishing rod that he really loved and of course he got other gifts from his family he also enjoyed. But yesterday was just a really good day.

Today was also a really good day. Class this morning was nice. I've spent a lot of time with a good friend of mine today, too. It was nice to just chill out with her. We've been getting close and are probably going to room together next semester in the dorms (and I'm really looking forward to that!!). I got my hair done today, too. It. Is. Gorgeous. I got it done for really cheap, too. There is a lab salon here for the cosmetology students and PRCC students get serious discounts for it. Lol. I got my hairstylsd for only $3. Crazy right? It's so awesome.

So yeah, it's been a really great week. :]

Back to Work

Yep. Unfortunately. :P

My spring break was really great. I spent most of my time relaxing, which was awesome. I got a lot of much needed rest. I also spent a good bit of time with my family and that was very nice because I don't get to do much of that anymore.

AAAANNNDDD, over spring break I got a new car (and a couple of other new things that I'll talk about too lol)!! It's really nice and I love it already. It's a silver Saturn Vue. Although I love my Z, this car has so many perks to it that my oldie didn't have. For example, the gas gauge on my Z was broken and so I had to keep track of my mileage, but my Saturn's gauge works! Lol. It also has electronic locks and MUCH better gas mileage. I absolutely love it! :D

I also got a new laptop and cell phone. However, when my dad and I went to pay for them neither were in stock. BUT! I'm coming home Wednesday for the night and I'm getting them then. I'm VERY happy to have both of them. I've been needing both for quite a while, so it feels awesome to know that in a couple of days I'll have a brand new laptop and cell phone.

Wednesday is Matt's birthday! He'll be 21!! Lol. But anyway, he and I are going home that night for his birthday and I'm really looking forward to it because I enjoy going home for a night every now and then. Sleeping in a bed that's comfy and being in a familiar, home environment is so much nicer than being in a dorm room around hundreds of people I don't know. :P

Oh, one more thing. Over spring break I got my hands on a GBA! Haha. So let's just say I've been playing it old school with the GBA and some of the older pokemon games the past week or so. :]

I didn't blog over the break because I kinda left my laptop at home a lot (where I don't have wi-fi or even good internet), but I plan to blog several times this week and get back into my normal blogging routine. So keep your eyes open if you're reading!

Spring Break!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOT! Today started my spring break. :]

I am seriously looking forward to a week off of school. And after this week, I need a break. Lol.

Things have been pretty difficult for me this week. I've been trying to get any school work I had to do finished so that I would have nothing school related to worry about over the break. My uncle had a seizure. He hasn't had one in a long time and this one was pretty bad, but thank goodness he's ok. My grandma has been through a lot this week. I'm really close to her and so it's been tough for me to deal with. She had a heart doctor appt this week and the doctor decided to do a heart cath. Well, in this heart cath they found two blockages in the main artery of her heart. So they had to do surgery Thursday morning and she's been in the hospital since then. It's been really hard on me knowing that my nanny has been through all of that and I haven't seen her at all yet. There's been other things, too, but I don't really care to talk about them. Just know that they were unpleasant . . .

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be going to the hospital to see my nanny. I'm the only one that hasn't been to see her since the surgery and I'm really looking forward to finally going to see her. It's been very stressful on me to know that she's been going through all of this. :P

Also, my mom is staying with her at the hospital for a few days. So, I'm staying at my dad's house this weekend. It's a little odd being back here since I haven't spent a night under this roof since August of last year, but at the same time it's nice. My relationship with my dad has improved tremendously. Things are going great and I think this weekend will be really good. Not only will I be with him, but I'll also be with my sisters. They just recently started staying with him again over the weekends, so I haven't been able to see them the past couple of weeks when I came home.

Over spring break, I plan to do a lot of relaxing and video game playing. Lol.

So that's all the big things I have to report for now. I'll try to keep up with blogging over the break, but no promises. But to those of you who also have spring break this week, have fun and be safe!!

Keep on Keeping on

So this is the week before spring break. Our spring break lasts for a whole week and I cannot describe how much I'm looking forward to a week of sitting home on my butt not worrying about class or homework or anything else to do with school. It is going to be absolutely glorious.

However, I have to get through this week first. :P

Apparently all of my teachers are pretty ready for this week to end too though because several have already cancelled class on Friday. That didn't hurt my feelings a bit either. Lol.

I really do need a break from school. All of this homework I've had piled on top of me lately is MIND NUMBING. I have so freaking much to worry about with my classes. My friends and Matt keep telling me that it's just because I'm taking my basics right now, and I seriously hope they're right about that. Next semester I've only got one more basic class to take and once I get that out of the way it'll just be my child care program classes and then I'm done! I'm shooting to graduate next May, but that all depends on how many child care classes I've got left (fingers and toes crossed that it's no more than nine or ten).

Being away from my home and my own room has really made me realize the things I love most about being home. I miss those things so much. Every. Day.

1. I miss having a freaking kitchen to cook in.
2. I miss having my xbox to play anytime that I want.
3. I miss having my mom there to make me food if I ask.
4. I SERIOUSLY miss my alone time and privacy.
5. I actually miss my crazy - and sometimes annoying - sisters.

Yeah. Those are the top five. Of course there are plenty more, but those are the ones that stand out the most. Although I plan to change at least one of those things next semester by giving in and getting a tv for my dorm room and I will, without a doubt, be bringing my xbox with me. Lol.

Ahhh. College is nice and all, but I'm in some major need of this spring break next week. I really hope this week doesn't drag by because I just might go crazy. :P

Sometimes All a Girl Needs is a Good Cry

Yep. And I sure did have myself one today.

Lately I've been struggling with coming to terms with "adulthood" and what that really means for me. For me, it meant giving up dreams of being a writer (or anything else in the artistic career field) and staying in Columbia, MS. At first that really upset me, but I'm starting to come to terms with it. The biggest thing that bothers me is all of the expectations my family/friends/whoever else have for me. They all think I should be someone big and successful in a huge town, but that's not really what I want . . .

My biggest dream? A family. I want to be a wife and a mom more than ANYTHING else in this world. I'd give up my beige heels to be married to the love of my life right now. For those of you who don't know, those are my FAVORITE shoes and I've got a massive shoe addiction anyway. :P

So settling in Columbia as a preschool teacher or maybe someday a kindergarten teacher is just fine with me. My life with Matt and our future children means more to me than any journalism career in New York City.

Now the hardest thing for me to deal with is that for the next couple of years I'll still have to stay in school and not be married. Yeah, that really sucks. I freaking hate it, but I've gotta just be patient. Someday I'll graduate college and marry Matt, but right now I just need to come to terms with the fact that this is my life at the moment. One day I'll have those things I want so badly, but patience is a virtue. One I've gotta learn to adapt to. Lol.

Traumatic Dramatic

So my weekend has been pretty full and a bit hectic . . .

Friday, first of all, on the way home from school I wrecked my car. I wasn't hurt and the car is mostly fine. There are some scratches in the paint, but they can probably be buffed out. No big deal. :P Honestly, I think it scared me more than anything. Haha. But I mean, it was my first wreck. Ever. Lol. Who WOULDN'T be scared? Gotta love those wet roads and the amazing antique muscle cars, like the one I own, that tempt you to drive fast anywhere and everywhere. Bleh.

Anyway, my car is in the shop this week while I'm at school for some mechanical stuff. My dad (p.s. our relationship is continually improving! woot~) wanted to put it into the alignment shop because my steering wheel was vibrating after the car was pulled out of the ditch. It's also making a couple weird noises, so we had to make sure it wasn't gonna blow up on me while I was driving down the road.

However, one good thing did happen Friday. :D

Matt and I went to Hattiesburg after we got my whole car situation fixed. And . . . . . . WE PUT MY WEDDING DRESS ON LAYAWAY!!!!!!!! HECK YEAH! Now we've only got three more payments to make until I'll have it hanging in my closet and awaiting next summer when I wear it down the aisle and become Mrs. Turnage. <3333

Saturday was a lot less dramatic and wreck-free. I got my hair dyed again. It looks really pretty. Right now it's kind of a darker burgundy thing, but I've got some red hair shampoo to draw out the red in it, which is really what we were aiming for. It's still fine, it's just a bit darker than I had expected it to be.

That night I had a girl's night with my bestest friend ever, Lakin. We went out to eat and then saw a movie. The food was amazing. LITERALLY drool worthy. And almost orgasmic. We ate at O'Charley's. I had the bayou tilapia, and I have to say that it was the best grilled fish I've ever had in my life. I'll be going back again for that. The movie we saw was great, too. We saw Side Effects. At first, we were both a bit confused, but when things started the actually make sense in the plot, I was hooked. I recommend it highly. :] (WARNING: there is one small and very short scene with nudity.)

Sunday was mostly a chill day. Church was really the only big thing on the agenda. Went grocery shopping. Came to school. That was it.

Well, that's my weekend in a nutshell. This week holds quite a bit for me, so I'll try to keep my blog up to date on all that happens and goes down. Let's just hope it doesn't end in a wreck because I rode to school with Matt. And I think he'd cry if he wrecked Thor. Legitimately cry. Like a baby. Sigh. Men and their trucks. :P

Anywho, thanks for those of you who are still tuning in to read! I really appreciate your support!! :]

Good Beginnings

Always a good thing to start something new, but it's ESPECIALLY good whenever it turns out to be a great new thing. :]

In my case, it's been two or three new things that I have gained or started in my life. Might as well say three I guess. Lol. I'm so happy with all of them and hopefully it'll change a lot of things for the better.

First of all, I made new friends!!!!!! I moved into my new friend Raven's dorm room this past Sunday and she's introduced me to several of her friends. All of them are so cool and super funny. They're all so fun to be around and I'm loving having girls to hang with. I met her and another new friend of mine, Jenn, in one of my classes and we've been getting closer and closer every since. And I see me getting pretty close to the other friends Raven introduced me to, too. So YAY!! :D

The next two can kinda be grouped together but I'll just separate them.

Matt and I have been going to the gym a lot more and it's already starting to show great results. We're gonna start going Mon.,Tues., Wed., and Thurs. instead of just going on Mon. and Wed. like we used to and I think it's gonna be really beneficial to us both. I know I'm in pretty good shape, but I have some fat in a couple places around my midsection that I'd like to lose, so that's what I'm working towards. I already feel really great about it, too. Of course exercising puts you in a better mood and it's definitely doing that for me. It's also supposed to give you more energy so I'm looking for that to kick in soon 'cause I'm kinda in need of that one. Lol

Along with our working out, we're going on a diet together. Well, kinda. We're really just eating a lot healthier to help us lose weight along with exercising. I've always liked healthy eating anyway, so now that he's eating the way I usually do it's so much easier. He's kinda like a little motivator to me doing it more regularly. I'm his motivator/coach in this new way of eating. It's pretty much a whole new thing for him. It's not like he ate gobs of fatty food or anything before, but he's not used to eating grilled chicken instead of fried for example. So it's little changes like that, but they'll definitely help us lose some extra pounds.

With so many new things going great for me it's motivating me to try more and more new things, so maybe these changes will be good for me in more ways than one! I've really been itching to pick back up with my novel (I kinda let procrastination get to me on that one) and even get back to painting. The document and my notes are still on my computer so there's not much stopping me there. Plus I've got tons of canvases and paint lying around at home. It's about time I put them to good use. Who knows? I may be reviving a lot of old habits and hobbies now.

Well, I can certainly say that things with school are going great. I'm still totally loving college. It's about a million times better than high school was for me . . . All is well right now and hopefully it'll stay that way.

Valentine's Day!!

So some people love it, some people hate it. I'm neutral. Lol. I've been lucky enough to have been in a relationship for at least the past 5 or 6 years on V-Day so I have not experienced the whole lonely on Valentine's Day thing. Which I guess is a good thing, but even if I had I don't think it would have crushed me. :P

This week back at school has been short and fast. It went by a lot quicker than I had expected it to. I've had a good bit of homework though which has sucked of course. Tomorrow I've only got two classes though which is AWESOME! However, not awesome is that I have one at 9 and then the other isn't until 12. Bleeehhhh. That means plenty of boredom for me in between the two.

Also, (P.S. NERD ALERT) I had a bit of disappointment this week . . . It was while I was still home, but whatever. Lately I've been thinking that I'd really like to get back into the Pokemon TCG - trading card game. So I started looking for my epicly awesome grass/psychic deck and could not find it anywhere. I was so sad. There was a LOT of time and thought and money put into that deck and then now it's just gone. BUT! There's an online TCG which is pretty decent and it allows you to create your own decks if you want and I'm hoping I can recreate mine. Lol.

Ok yes. I'm a total dork for the above paragraph. I know, I know, but it had to come out at some point in my blog. Or maybe you'd already figured that out. Who knows. :P

Well, I hope all of you have had an awesome V-Day! And if not, then here you go: -insert virtual hug here- There! Now be happy! :D

No. Just No.

Ugh. I've had a good break and now today I have to go back to school. Classes don't start until tomorrow morning, but I'm still not happy about going back this afternoon. :P

BUT! On the bright side, I'm feeling better! :D

Yes. After about a whole week of waking up puking and not being able to eat much of anything besides peanut butter or crackers, I'm feeling much better. I'm really happy about that, too. Because I was seriously getting annoyed with people asking me if I was pregnant . . . When you're 18, trying to make it through college, not even thinking about having a baby ANYTIME SOON, and you're on Superman birth control (Implanon - I have heavy praise for it) it gets pretty old when EVERYONE automatically looks at you and says "are you pregnant?" GAAAAAAAH! It got to the point that I wanted to just scream at people and be like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

Haha. That just reminded  me of a Walking Dead joke . . . :]

ANYWAY, I've had a nice time off sitting on the couch with Matt watching multiple hours of The Walking Dead and doing just about nothing. It's been pretty amazing.

Alas, tomorrow classes will start again and I'm sure I'll have classwork to do that will make me wanna pull my hair out, but I'll do it anyway because I want to get my freaking basics out of the way already. (Plus I seriously don't want to face the wrath of my mother if I fail any of those classes and we have to pay for me to take it over again. That would be bad. VERY. BAD.)

Don't melt in the rain everyone! And watch out for more crazy scary tornadoes :P

Waiting on the Weekend

Yep. I have a lot of plans with Matt this weekend and I'm really looking forward to them, because it's supposed to be a weekend of just us time. But I'll get to that later.

Today I had my second public speaking speech and it went great. The first one's out of the way and now this one, and it certainly was easier this time than it was on my first one. I think at first I was just nervous and now that I've been up there once before, today was just not that big of a deal. The only thing I was worried about was getting my time and an A. Not really sure when I'll get my grade, but hopefully it'll be Friday.

I'm also feeling a great deal better than I was. I did get sick again last night, but besides not having much energy today, I feel fine. I'm gonna try to eat a lot of protein packed foods over the next couple of days though and maybe that will return me to my normal self. :P

Now for the future plans!

First of all, tomorrow I've got a whole day of homework planned (gag . . .), but then that night I'm having a movie night with my friend girls, Raven and Jenn! I'm so excited to be getting closer with them. Of course they'll not replace my high school friends, but at least I have some great girls to hang out with in the meantime. :]

Also, this weekend Matt and I have plans together. He's taking me out on a date Friday night which I'm really looking forward to because we haven't had a date night in a while. He kinda surprised me with it, too. I really love it when he does that. It's always so sweet to me whenever he just plans a date for us out of the blue. <3

I'm also supposed to be spending a lot of time with him this weekend since the past two weekends we've kind of been with our friends. I'm really looking forward to it though. Of course I'm always happy to spend more time with my love.

Next Monday and Tuesday I don't have class. WHICH IS GREAT! I probably won't come to the school until Tuesday afternoon or maybe even Wednesday morning. I've got some work due on Tuesday (Gotta love English teachers and their lack of respect for time off and away from school and all its demons), but I'm planning on getting all that mess done tomorrow so that I will have nothing to worry about over the break. Ahhhh.

So as of right now, I really am just waiting on the weekend. It's only a day and two classes away for me and then I'm out of Poplarville and back in the comfort of my home in Columbia for a whole five days. :]

Blah Blah. I Can't Think of a Title.

So my weekend was pretty great. I spent it with my best friend, Lakin. I stayed at her house Friday and Saturday night and it was really great. :]

HOWEVER, I unfortunately have been pretty sick the past couple of days. I'm not really sure what I've been sick with, but it has been very unpleasant to say the least . . . Today just going to class was a bit of a struggle for me. I've been very weak and exhausted, but I plan on getting lots of sleep tonight and hopefully I'll feel up to going to class in the morning. It'll probably not be a good feeling to wake up at 7 AM to a ringing alarm clock, but at least I won't have an absence to worry about. :P

I know it's been a few days since I last blogged, and there are a couple of brief things I'd like to mention - besides my weekend.

Last week my dad and his girlfriend came to visit me at school, which I enjoyed very much. Our relationship seems to be improving and I'm VERY happy about that. After much though, I decided it was better to just get over the past and hope that things can get better instead of getting worse. So maybe things will continue to get better. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Also, I've kinda gotten into the show the Walking Dead. I had always heard stuff about it from friends and on tv, but never really looked into it. Well, it just so happens that my boyfriend really likes it and Friday afternoon he decided to catch up on season two, which he missed when it was being aired. I really got into it, and now I like the show. A lot. Lol. It's looking like Bones won't be the only thing I watch on Netflix anymore.

Well, that's about it. I have a couple things coming up this week that I'm sure I'll blog about at a later date. So until then, stay healthy out there and I pray that none of you get the same crap I've been stuck with the past couple of days because it is awful.
